Jefferson County Sheriff hosting final 2013 Slash Collection August 10-11, ICFPD Station #3 (8445 S Highway 285) 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Jefferson County Slash Collection Weekend August 10 &11, 2013 Inter-Canyon Fire Station 3 Due to past traffic safety concerns along State Highway 285 and expected increased volumes of slash expected, slash collection traffic will be routed through Sourdough Road and Exit Settlers Drive with drop off occurring at Inter Canyon Fire Protection District Station 3. Slash traffic will occur from approximately 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Official times for slash drop off are 08:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Saturday August 10 and Sunday August 11, 2013. This route will be monitored for accidental slash litter and for traffic speeds. Please contact the Sheriff’s Office at (303) 271-4902 with any questions or concerns. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Those participating are asked to remember that NO METAL is allowed. Only woody slash, pine needles or leaf material accepted. No building materials, roots, rocks, metal, dirt, plastics or any tree limbs or tree trunks greater than 8 inches in diameter.
