Can we find you in an emergency? House number signs are available from ICFPD. Help local emergency service personnel find your home faster. This standard numbering program will make finding houses easier for everyone. The last thing you need to worry about during an emergency, when seconds may count, is if rescuers will be able to locate your home. Signs are made of rust free aluminum, measure 5”x 14” (4 digits) or 5”x 16” (5 digits) with a blue reflective background and white numbers. They are one sided and horizontally oriented and may be ordered by mailing the requested information below to Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District. Former ICFPD Fire Chief Indicted

Weir, District Attorney NEWS RELEASE October 17, 2013 Pam Russell, Public Information 303-271-6905 Former Volunteer Fire Chief Indicted First Judicial District Attorney Peter A. Weir announced today that the Jefferson County Grand Jury has returned a six-count indictment accusing the former volunteer Fire Chief of the Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District of stealing approximately $643,000 in public funds from the District. The indictment accuses David Roy MacBean, 41, of three counts of Theft of $20,000 or more (F3) and three counts of Embezzlement of Public Property, (F5). Between January 2010 and March 2013 MacBean is alleged to have made unauthorized purchases in the amount of approximately $643,000 using the District’s credit card and bank accounts. According to the indictment these purchases were for his personal use. As volunteer Fire Chief, David MacBean was responsible for the overall supervision of operations for the Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District, subject to the direction of the board of directors. This included the operation of the fire department, hiring and managing of staff and assisting in preparing the annual budget. According to the indictment, MacBean made numerous purchases through PayPal, Amazon.com, at Big R and various other retail merchants. In March, 2013, members of the Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District board contacted the District Attorney’s Office regarding possible unauthorized use of District funds. Investigators from the District Attorney’s office and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation which was presented to the Grand Jury. The indictment was signed by the court on October 15. The Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District is funded by mill levy property taxes. MacBean was in court this morning where he was advised of the charges filed against him. He was arrested and booked into the Jefferson County Detention Center on October 16. MacBean is being held on a $40,000 cash/surety bond. His arraignment has been set for December 2 at 8:00 a.m.
